She had woken up herself at 9am, had a bath, cleared her room and switched on the TV. She was waiting for Leena and Morticia to arrive. They had planned to spend the night at Jeena's place and then go out on dinner with The Parents the next day. Leena arrived at 10am; and Morticia arrived late. "What was I supposed to do?" Morticia tried to justify herself as Jeena pouted and Leena inquired, "I hadn't slept all night! I had this really weird dream and-" "I don't care about that" Jeena cut in, "you were supposed to reach at 10 o'clock! You're an hour late!" After they were done bickering, they tortured Leena until she gave them tarot readings and a couple of hours later she tortured them with her "make-over" sessions; for which you should thank your lucky stars that you don't know her - all she had to do was see your face and she would start painting it; and not to mention the hideous costumes she would make you wear. I think Jeena and Morticia would second me in on this one. At about 11pm they finished watching two movies on the laptop on Jeena's bed (which basically consisted of two mattresses on the floor). "That was the lamest movie, EVER!" Morticia said. Jeena handed Leena the torch. "Now switch off the light." "Once there was a girl called Sheetal who wanted an accommodation in her college girls' hostel. But when she went to the hostel warden, she said that there was no available room. Since Sheetal was free the whole day, she decided to take a stroll along the corridors of the hostel. As she was walking, she came across room no. 194. There was a lock on the door. When she asked someone who was passing by about it, she was told that the room had been empty for some time. So she went back to the hostel warden and asked her whether she could have room no. 194. The warden refused immediately. She even refused to give a reason. After great persuasion, she-" "Leena," Jeena said, "can I ask you something?" "What?" Leena sounded irritated at being interrupted. "What does 'persuasion mean?" |
