Chapter 2.1

Jeena and Morticia reached Leena at the same time in front of Block 1 where she had been staring at the two of them. When she asked the two about what in the world they had been doing standing like complete idiots in one place smiling to themselves they just shrugged.

Awake for a little
Asleep for a while
Killed in a storm
And hidden under the skies

Live my life for a moment
And find the truth
Kill me for a while
I will still be there

"Weird poem Morticia" Zarif commented. He was wearing a red zipper sweater and black pants, and was walking towards her. She was standing on a pathway lined on both sides with beautiful maple trees, all of them shedding their leaves. It was autumn. Morticia smiled.

"I like you" Zarif said, "I'm your boyfriend. Let's walk."

"YOU are my boyfriend?" Morticia was shocked, "oh well, thank you. You look nice."

"I can do anything for you Morticia. You are my life."

"Really? That's so sweet of you" Morticia blushed. She was in heaven. Then Zarif bent forward to kiss her on her cheek. But instead of stopping at her cheek, he went a little further to her ear and said "Wake up Morticia! Or you'll be late for school!" sounding exactly like her mother.

The next day, Friday 28th of November, at school

"Hey Jeena", Morticia greeted her best friend in a drowsy voice.

"Hey…" Jeena noticed Morticia's drowsiness and asked her what that was about. "I mean, I'm sure you weren't awake all night talking to a boyfriend or anything…" she joked.

Morticia felt the colour rise in her cheeks as she shook her head, "no", she said, "I just had a weird dream. That's all."

"HEY!" someone screamed from behind the two girls. Not surprisingly it was Leena. "Did I hear anyone say the word 'dream'?" she asked saying the word 'dream' with an air of drama, "So who did you dream about? You're in my HEART, you're in my SOUL, and you're in my DREAMS, OH, who are you?" she added with even more drama.

Next
