Chapter 1.7

She forced herself to look away from his eyes as soon as she realised that she had been staring at someone. It's not a very polite thing to do, she reminded herself. Instead she looked at his face. He had a very unreadable expression. He handed her her pen.
"Er…Thank you" she said, feeling awkward.
Then he said something.

Jeena and Leena were heading toward Block 1 and talking about how silly it was of all the girls to be so boy obsessed. Well, Leena was talking about that while Jeena was thinking about a boy herself. And to be precise, she was thinking of a boy that Leena shared a house with. She was thinking of what it was like to live in the same house as Zack Saxena. Not very good, she guessed from what she had heard from Leena. But she wondered whether it would be different with her when she saw someone block her way. She stopped in front of a tall boy who looked about a couple of years older than her, a boy with purple eyes. Her eyebrows went up and she blinked at him…
Something about his presence made her fell…weird.
Then he said something.

Look beyond the eyes, because the truth lies within…

She stood there silently and watched as the boy with the purple eyes walked away into nothingness. She heard something.
The eyes…don't speak, they see…
It was a whisper, soft and easy.
"Okay…" she said slowly a confused smile on her face, "I didn't know that my eyes didn't speak but saw. Whoa, front page news!" she shook her, laughing at herself and walked to where Leena was staring at her.
