Yesterday my 2nd year degree exam result came and I lost two subjects. I had to go to my college by train. I am a daily traveller by train. Usually I enjoy train travelling. But that day the sound of the train irritated me. Parassuram Express reached the station. Usually I travel in this train. When I was about to get into the train a lady dashed into me and my head hit the door. I asked her whether anyone of her is going to die for making such urgency. She looked disappointed but said nothing. I gave an angry look. Next morning when I was waiting for the train, I heard a sweet voice from behind. It was she who had dashed into me yesterday. She said 'hello' to me. However, instead of greeting her, I asked whether she had any urgency today. She smiled and said sorry for what had happened yesterday. We spoke for almost one hour, as the train was late in coming. Within that time we became good friends. After that we met daily and used to speak for long hours, share our feelings, give gifts to each other etc. I found that she knew me more than I knew myself. Within a short period of time she could read my mind and behaved in the manner I liked. When I got tensed she used to calm me with her presence and advice. In a casual talk one day she told me that her marriage was fixed with one of her relatives. I congratulated her and made fun of her. Then we carried on our casual talk. She used to call me at home and used to talk for many hours. She used to tell me her problems and ask for solutions. One day she called me and said that the date of her marriage was fixed but she was not happy. I was confused at what she meant by saying this. Earlier she had said that the fixing of her marriage was with her permission. Now she says she doesn't love him. Our relationship had lasted seven months and we never had any problem with each other. For the first time she told me that she loved me and wanted to marry me. The whole night I thought of it but didn't reach any decision. As I am a student I am not in a condition to even think about marriage. Next day she called me and said that her parents are very strict in their decision and asked me about my decision. I couldn't say a word to that question. From my silence she could read my mind. She said 'bye' after a few minutes. That was our last meeting. Later I got an answer from my mind that I loved her very much. |
